Doug Carter graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1975. Since that time he has proudly served the legal needs of his friends in Washington County, Carter County, Sullivan County and surrounding areas with family law matters such as divorce, child custody and child support . Doug is a member of the Washington County Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. He is a Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Mediator who offers mediation services for domestic matters. The honest, personal and dedicated service he provides to each client has earned him the People’s Choice Award from the Johnson City Press for being the outstanding lawyer in all of Johnson City.
